Why it works
Mounted to a wall or set in a weighted freestanding base, the screen pulls out horizontally on a self-tensioning spring mechanism and locks at the opposite post. It blocks side wind, low sun and sightlines between adjacent seating without permanent construction.
When closed, the fabric winds neatly into an aluminium cassette that shields it from UV and rain, so the unit stays clean and ready between seasons — a practical advantage for cafes rotating outdoor layouts and rental properties.
Build & materials
The frame and cassette are extruded 6063-T5 aluminium with a powder-coat finish for corrosion resistance and a clean, modern profile. Standard fabric is solution-dyed acrylic (~280-300 gsm) for colourfastness and water repellency; breathable HDPE mesh and PVC-coated polyester are available for higher wind permeability or full waterproofing.
Operation is manual spring-tension as standard, with optional tubular motorisation compatible with Somfy and Becker drives for fixed installations. All units are assembled to ISO 9001 process control and SGS-tested for fabric and seam performance.
Customization & OEM
Full OEM/ODM is supported: custom widths and projections, RAL frame colours, fabric shade selections, branded valances or logos, and retail-ready packaging. We supply private-label units, manuals and barcoded cartons for distributors building their own catalogue line.
