Why it works
Unlike top-mounted retractables, the drop-arm design tilts the fabric down across the glass, intercepting the low-angle morning and afternoon sun that side-mounted shades miss. This cuts solar heat gain and glare at the source, lowering interior cooling loads while keeping the window operable.
Operation is simple and reliable: a hand crank or pull-cord adjusts projection and pitch in seconds, and tensioned arms hold the fabric taut against light wind without sagging. The result is a low-maintenance, mechanically robust unit that suits both residential and high-traffic commercial installs.
Build & materials
Frames are extruded from 6063-T5 aluminium with a polyester powder-coat finish for corrosion resistance and long outdoor service. Standard fabric is solution-dyed acrylic (~280-300 gsm) for fade-resistant, breathable shade, with PVC-coated polyester and breathable HDPE mesh available on request.
Every batch is produced to ISO 9001 process controls; fabrics and finishes are independently SGS-tested and the product line is CE and TÜV compliant, giving distributors the documentation needed for resale in regulated markets.
