Window Sunshade Roller Curtain
Block the heat before it reaches the glass.
Request a Quote & Catalog →The Window Sunshade Roller Curtain is an exterior roller blind engineered to stop solar heat and glare at the facade — before it passes through the glass — keeping interiors cooler and reducing cooling loads. Manufactured factory-direct by Awnova in our 10,000+ m² Hebei plant with full OEM/ODM support, it belongs to our wider Outdoor Roller Blinds range and ships worldwide on FOB or CIF terms.
Why exterior shading works
Mounted outside the window, the curtain intercepts radiant heat at the building skin rather than absorbing and re-radiating it indoors the way interior blinds do. Compared with internal shading, an exterior screen can cut solar heat gain dramatically, easing HVAC demand while preserving daylight and outward views.
Breathable HDPE and tightly woven screen fabrics hold openness factors typically from 3% to 10%, letting buyers tune the balance between glare control, view-through and ventilation for each facade orientation.
Build and materials
Side guides and headbox extrusions are 6063-T5 aluminium with a powder-coat finish for corrosion resistance and color matching to facade joinery. Fabric options include solution-dyed acrylic (approx. 280-300 gsm), PVC-coated polyester and breathable HDPE mesh — all UV-stable and fade-resistant.
Operation runs from a smooth manual gear/crank up to a quiet tubular motor, with Somfy- and Becker-compatible drives available for integration into BMS or smart-home control. Cassette and open-roll configurations are both supported.
Customization and OEM
Every order is built to spec: dimensions, fabric, openness factor, frame color, drive type and control accessories. We provide full OEM/ODM service — your branding, packaging and private-label documentation — backed by ISO 9001, CE and TÜV compliance with independent SGS testing on request.
