Why it works
Unlike fixed panels, the roller curtain drops only when you need it — cutting glare, UV and wind while preserving the view, then rolling cleanly back into a slim headbox. Mesh fabrics knock back up to 90%+ of UV while keeping airflow and outward visibility; blockout fabrics deliver full privacy and weather closure for sheltered dining and lounge zones.
Side guides — zip-track, cable or channel — keep the fabric tensioned and stable in gusts, so the curtain performs in real outdoor wind rather than just on a calm test bench.
Build & materials
The frame is extruded 6063-T5 aluminium with a powder-coat finish for long-term coastal and sun exposure. Fabric options cover solution-dyed acrylic (~280-300 gsm), PVC-coated polyester and breathable HDPE mesh — all colour-fast and rot-resistant.
Operation runs from a smooth crank/spring system to quiet tubular motors compatible with Somfy and Becker drives, with optional RF remote, sun/wind sensors and smart-home integration. Components are SGS-tested and the line is built to ISO 9001, CE and TÜV standards.
